The Bently 3500/40 Proximitor monitor is a 4-channel monitor that takes input from and utilizes the Proximitor sensor. to drive the warning device. The 3500/40 Proximitor monitors can be programmed with the 3500 Rack Configuration Software to perform any of the following functions: radial vibration, axial displacement, eccentricity, and differential expansion. The main purpose of the Model 3500/40 monitor is to provide: continuous comparison of the current machine vibration value with the set warning value, so as to sound an alarm and achieve machine protection; 2) Machine vibration information required by operators and maintenance personnel. Warning setpoints can be configured using the 3500 Rack Configuration Software. Alarm setpoints can be configured for each valid proportional value, and hazard setpoints can be configured for two of the proportional values. The 3500/40 monitor is shipped factory unconfigured. When necessary, the 3500/40 monitor can be mounted in the 3500 rack and configured to accomplish the required monitoring functions. This allows users to purchase only one monitor and use it for a variety of different purposes.
